Arturo Nevarez is responsible for projects varying from sidewalk reconstruction to façade redevelopment projects in underserved communities in Los Angeles. Arturo has an extensive background working with non-profit advocacy organizations, labor unions, and most recently, the State Legislature. He enjoys using research and policy advocacy as tools to promote equity among impacted communities of color.  Arturo was born in Boyle Heights and raised in the City of Maywood.
